A Patent by Sony Ericsson was filed which credits the rumours of a PSP phone which have been floating around recently. As can be seen in the above patent, the screen can rotate around to be used portrait or landscape. Indications of being able to pause a game to take a call are also mentioned. The screen does look quite large and the phone looks to be a fairly acceptable size although it is hard to tell for sure on the line drawings. Apart from what you see above, there isnt much information. Details of key positions is not clearly showed.

The Video Watch has an OLED screen which is 1.5 inches in size. The OLED screen is colour and has a resolution of 128×128 pixels. Due to how slim the OLED screen is, it allows for the watch not to be too bulky.
The watch can play video in full colour which can be created by using the software at ThinkGeek. As well as being video capable the watch can also play MP3 and WMA audio. A microphone is also built in allowing you to record on to it’s built in 2GB storage capacity. The watch battery lasts 7 hours and charges when connecting to the computer via USB.

It is capable of playing video from AVI and MPEG file formats and also supports audio from MP3 and WMA. As well as being for audio and video this little player can also display JPEG images. Another nice feature of this little player is the built in 1GB of memory. Although thats not the hugest amount, it is larger then a few others. Memory is expandable via miniSD which currently has a capacity of 4GB.
Charge your Mobile with a Wind up Torch
If you enjoy camping and have a wind up torch then you might be able to make some modifications that allow it to charge your mobile phone. The wind up torch (or flashlight) in the video after the jump can generate around 4V of power when you crank the handle. Mixing this together with a Nokia car charger can allow you to generate enough power to charge your phone, PDA and other electronic devices. Its quite a good idea for those who travel and want the mixture of a torch and charger in one. As it is a custom device there are no prices for this. If you do happen to hack away at your torch then just make sure you use the correct testing equipment so that you do not damage the torch or electronic device.
Multimedia Remote Control Wrangler
If you are the type who often looses the remote control for the TV, Video, DVD player, Stereo, iPod Dock and a number of other devices then you need to pick up a remote control wrangler. Ok, you dont really as you would look extremely strange wearing one of these. The Remote Wrangler is a Velcro type stretchy material that you wrap around your head. On each remote you put the other side of the Velcro and when you need to change channel you just reach up to your head rather then hunt around the floor, cushions and other random places that remote controls get lost.
RC Tarantula
If you want a good way to freak out a friend and see how tough they really are then get your self one of these RC tarantulas (particularly the dark one). Tarantulas have 8 legs and according to one source, they have 8 eyes. I wont argue with the person who said that as I dont want to confirm it my self. Anyway, the RC tarantula is available from various places across the US and UK for around 20 pounds in the UK.
Irregular IQ Cube
The animation above shows a Rubiks Cube clone which is named the Irregular IQ Cube. It is different in that it is not a cube. Its an odd 3D shape in which you need to put together in to a cube somehow. Apparantly it does as can be seen in the animation above.
The Irregular IQ Cube costs just $8.50 and it well worth buying if you liked the Rubiks Cube.

The battery will allow you to flick through your pictures for 7 hours. It is available in Korea I believe and I doubt we will see this one appear on this side of the world.
QuikPod – Handheld Tripod
If you enjoy photography and like getting some good shots of your self in front of castles and such then the quikpod can help you out although you will look a tad strange. The quikpod is a device which fastens to the bottom of your camera in to the tripod socket. You can then hold the quickpod away with the camera facing you and capture a nice picture of your self in front of the Eiffel tower. To make sure the camera is correctly facing you a built in self image positioning mirror is included.
PSP Streaming From Windows Media
According to Hardcoreware they found that the latest PS3 firmware which is currently 1.8 allows you to stream Windows Media to your PSP wirelessly. This is achieved by using the Remote Play feature which allows you to view all the streaming functions on the 1.8 update. Unfortunately I have not had chance to test this my self due to not having a PS3, but for those who cannot wait another month for the PSP firmware update you will have to use the work around mentioned.
Lego USB Key
Lego has been around for years. I would be surprised if I came across anybody who had not heard of it and used Lego when a child (or now if you are like me). The latest USB flash drive is made from a Lego brick with USB put inside it. It appears that if you have several you could build a wall of flash drives with them. They are available in a large range of colours and cost about $48 + shipping which seems a little steep. The novelty factor is what will win people over with this though as I still wouldnt mind owning one of these.
