Asus Eee 1005HA – Best Netbook on Amazon
The Asus Eee 1005HA is now the best selling netbook on Amazon. Previously the Eee 1000HE held that title for a number of months.
The reason for the new netbook taking top position is probably related to what you get when you buy it. The battery life is astonishing at 10.5 hours. It has a 92% scaled keyboard, a 10.1 inch LED backlit screen and costs less then $400 which is not a bad price at all. [Read more…]
NVIDIA to Launch Tegra based Netbook
NVIDIA are launching a netbook that will support the new Tegra chip. The Tegra chip so far has only been used in a Zune HD player, so making a move to a netbook will be an interesting step.
The Tegra chip is basically an all-in-one chip that integrates CPU, GPU, northbridge and southbridge on to the 1 chip as well as primary memory functionality. This integration supports a 720p resolution which provides HD video for the netbook. [Read more…]

It comes in 3 colours of silver, black or red and is powered fully by the USB port on the device it connects to.

ASUS Eee PC T91 Now Available
Official details now launched about the Asus Eee T91 tablet netbook.
ASUS have listed their latest Eee PC on their website. It is named the Eee PC T91 and is a bit different to other Eee netbooks that you will have seen.
The Asus T91 is another netbook but rather then being just a netbook, it is also a tablet too making it a netbook tablet. It has an 8.9″ touchscreen and is powered by an Intel Z520 1.33GHz Atom Processor. 1GB of RAM can be found in the netbook along with an SSD with a 16GB capacity. [Read more…]
Acer 3D Aspire Laptop Coming October 2009
Acer are launching a new 3D laptop in this Aspire range which will have a 15.6 inch screen. To view the 3D effect you will need to wear 3D stereoscopic glasses. Uses for a 3D screen on a laptop sway more towards the gaming and video scene allowing the viewer to more immerse in the game or movie.
Software will be installed on the Aspire 3D which will some how be capable of taking a regular 2D image and convert it in to 3D. The hardware used to achive this was jointly developed by a company named Wistron although it is unclear at the moment if Acer will use NVIDIA like the similar HP 3D laptop will use. [Read more…]

Asus Eee 1000HV gets Integrated ATI Graphics Chip
Asus have released a lot of Eee PC’s since the range was launched a while back. Another one has recently popped up which indicates the graphics will be receiving an update. This latest Eee PC model is to sport an integrated ATI graphics card.
The Asus Eee PC 1000HV will include an Intel Atom N280 processor along with an ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics processor that will have 256MB of memory on board. [Read more…]
Toshiba Dynabook gets 512GB SSD
Toshiba have announced that their top of the range Dynabook is to get a MASSIVE 512GB solid state drive. The Dynabook model number is the SS RX2/WAJ and comes in 2 versions.
It employs a 2-bit-per-cell multi-level NAND flash memory to realize, the world’s largest capacity SSD, with four times the density of SSD integrated into currently available products. The data access speeds has been increased approximately by 230% for read and by 450% for write. SSDs are free of mechanical structures such as a rotating disc, and ideal for integration into mobile notebook PCs, making them more resistant to vibration and shock.
Alpha 680 Android Based Netbook Arrives
A few netbooks have been mentioned over the last few weeks that are aiming to use the Google Android OS rather then XP or a variation of Linux. Those manufacturers include Dell, Acer and MSI to name a few, but as of yet, nothing has been seen yet that is official.
