HP has quietly rolled out a new HP Palm logo showing the two brand names together.

Virgin Broadband is now offering 100MB broadband here in the UK.

Although you cannot get it just yet, pre-registrations have started for the service.

Adobe Air 2.5 for Phones, TVs and Tablets Announced

Adobe has announced the launch of Adobe Air 2.5. Air 2.5 is software that allows flash-based applications to run on Android, RIM and Samsung smart TVs.

Today at the Apple Back to the Mac event, Apple [AAPL] announced iLife 11. This new version costs $49 for those buying it now, or comes free for those who buy a Mac from today onwards.

New features of iLife 11 include a new version of iPhoto (version 11) that brings the app to full screen mode on the Mac. New features show that the software can email photos, themes, and more easily integrate with Facebook and Flickr. Books can more easily be created with this new version as well as letterpress photo cards. 12 new themes are also included allowing you to make better slideshows for your pictures in full screen. Apple Event Live Stream Announced

Apple [AAPL] will be holding the Back to the Mac event in a couple of hours time. They have now announced that the event will be live streamed. THe stream will be available on the Apple website.

The stream, as it has done the past few times, will go live a few moments before the event starts. Also, as usual, the Apple Live Stream will require that you have an Apple device to play it back such as a Max OS X computer or an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. New Apple MobileMe Released

Apple [AAPL] has updated the MobileMe Calendar for Mac and with the update, has introduced a bunch of new features to the software. The new features have been designed to make it easier to use as well as giving users more power.
