Video Out Support Comes to iPhone 4 and iPod touch
The Netflix for iPhone and iPod touch app has received an update. The new update brings video out support for the devices. Right now it is compatible with the latest generations of each device, ie the iPhone 4 and fourth gen iPod touch.
Video can be output via the dock connector on the bottom of each device when you have the compatible cable.
The update is version 1.1.1 and is free to download. If you do not run a latest gen iOS device then the option will not be there to use. [Read more…]

In Chiba, Japan, NTT DoCoMo (Japan’s largest mobile carrier) have put on show something pretty impressive that could quite possibly revolutionise 3D gaming.
Showing at Ceatec, while combining both a glasses-less 3D display with a stylus and force feedback, developers have created great vision of what can be expected very soon in the handheld gaming market and to take interactivity that extra leap forward. [Read more…]
ASUS EeePad EP90 Tablet Launching Soon?
ASUS could be in the process of releasing a new tablet called the ASUS EeePad EP90.
The EP90 is reported as having a 1GHz dual-core Tegra processor. The screen is expected to be able to display 1024 x 600 pixels although the exact size of the screen isn’t known.
Memory wise, the tablet comes in two capacities of 16GB and 32GB . For connectivity it has Bluetooth 2.1, Wireless and has GPS for navigation and location based services. [Read more…]
Internet Explored Drops Below 50% Global Market Share
A year ago, Internet Explorer had a global market share of 58.37%. A year later it has now dropped below 50% down to 49.87%.
The browser now making the most progress is Google Chrome that has gone from a 3.69% last year up to 11.54% for global share. Although this makes IE almost 5 times more popular, it shows that Chrome is rapidly growing. Other browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Opera have stayed relatively level in the field. [Read more…]
Apple Paid $1.7M For 1 Acre of Land
Apple [AAPL] is reported to have paid 1.7 million USD for 1 acre of land adjacent to its datacentre. The land was purchased from the Fulbright family who seem to essentially have got a blank cheque to write…
“They told us to put a price on it and we did,” Kathy Fulbright said. The Fulbrights initially paid just $6,000 for the land over 34 years ago. Now they live in a 49-acre property with a 4,200-squre foot house and a jacuzzi in the master bathroom.

Google TV is launching soon and because of that, Google [GOOG] has now uploaded a new website all about the new TV service. Details of Google TV can now be found at www.google.com/tv.
Over at that web address, you’ll find details of what is available on the TV such as what can be streamed and where from, what apps will run on your TV such as Napster, Twitter, Netflix and many others. Google Chome web browser also gets a mention. [Read more…]

Google Street View Now on All Continents
Last week, we reported on Google Street View hitting Antartica. We also note now that Street View is also available in Brazil and Ireland and is now available across all continents around the world.
Google Street View was first introduced in May of 2007. At launch the data was limited to just a few cities in the US although it quickly came to some parts of England. Moving closer to now, we can access almost any street in the UK and actually see a lot of of Street View imagery from around the world. [Read more…]
