The Dell Venue is the Android version of the Dell Venue Pro (Windows Phone 7 device).
The Dell Venue has been announced by KT over in Korea. It has a 4.1 inch AMOLED screen and uses curved Gorilla Glass on the front panel. The OS running on the new Dell Venue is Android 2.2.
Differences, other than the Dell Venue being Android, include the lack of a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which means it has a virtual keyboard only on the Android version.
As for connectivity, the Dell Venue has GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA. We assume it has all the usual sensors such as GPS and accelerometers and that WiFi and Bluetooth are available. However, the official specs are not known yet so that’s just speculation at the moment.
Price wise, the Dell Venue will cost around $608 at todays exchange rate which is 700,000 won.
No details have been revealed about a potential release in Europe or the US, but we’ll look out for that and let you know in time if this will happen.
