Last week, Facebook launched Timeline in New Zealand. The reason New Zealand was first to get the new update was that the country speaks English and provides enough data for Facebook to test that all works well.
We now see that Facebook has rolled out Timeline to the rest of the world.
Facebook Timeline allows users to see a complete history of activity on Facebook. So that you don’t get any surprises dug up from the past few years, you first need to activate Timeline via this link (make sure you are logged in). When activated it puts Timeline in preview mode and gives you 7 days to scan through the history and delete/edit anything you want. After the 7 days is up, Facebook puts your profile live for all to see. If you are happy with your profile then you can activate it before the 7 days is up.
Timeline is available now and can be activated at the link above.
