Fring has launched its iPad app which now brings group video chat to the tablet device. The new version of Fring lets up to four people chat with a video link at the same time.
As well as being able to talk to other iPad owners, the Fring iPad app also works with other versions of the app which includes the iPhone, iPod touch, Android and Nokia devices. Video calls also work on 3G and 4G networks as well as WiFi although the quality may drop a little if the connection on 3G or 4G isn’t up to scratch.
Also included in the new version is Bluetooth support for the iPhone although SIP and dialler support for the iPad is not included just yet.
