The FujiFilm FinePix S2800HD has been announced by FujiFilm. The new digital camera has a 28mm-504mm high precision lens capable of an 18X optical zoom.
The sensor that captures images is 14 megapixels and is CCD. It has a high ISO sensitivity along with image stabilisation to prevent blurry pictures at high zoom ranges.
As the name suggests, the S2800HD is capable of capturing video in a HD format at 720p. The camera has a HDMI output port allowing you to playback the 720p video on a large HDTV.
Storage wise, it has just 23MB of internal memory which would be good for capturing just a handful of pictures. As with most cameras, you can buy extra storage to boost that a lot more (we guess up to 32GB in total).
Size wise, the camera measures 110 x 74 x 82mm and weighs 341g without batteries. In terms of power source, it requires four AA batteries to run.
We do not have pricing details or availability dates just yet. When we get them, we’ll make an announcement.
