GenMobile is a portable Sega Genesis that allows you to play your old Genesis/Megadrive games while on the move. It’s similar to the Nomad that came out years ago although it has been shrunk down thanks to advances in technology.
Sega have also officially licensed the GenMobile too. The handheld games system comes pre-installed with 20 games such as Sonic Spinball, Kid Chameleon, Golden Axe and Ecco Jr to name a few.
If you happen to have a few of the older games still lying around your home then the system can accept both Japanese and US games (possibly UK games too as the carts are almost identical to US ones). The screen on the games system measures 2.5 inches and is a TFT screen. An AV out is also included on the device allowing it to connect up to a TV to play on a larger screen if needed.
The GenMobile costs $54.99 including the built-in 20 games which isn’t a bad price at all. It will be launched in the next few weeks and is available from StoneAgeGamer.
