Google has confirmed that it is about to begin pushing out an update for Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners. The update is a fix for the volume bug which sees the device in some cases have rapid volume changes while trying to use the phone.
The fix has already been made available on new stock of the Galaxy Nexus according to Clove in the UK and they commented that Google is also about to push out a fix for devices that sold before the software fix was made available.
Our understanding is that the bug is related to the 2G antenna although Google have claimed the fix can be made with software and it appears that they are about to prove that with a roll out over the coming week. Exact timings are not known but we understand that all Galaxy Nexus devices will have received the update by next week.
