Information from the RSA Conference held this week confirms that Google [GOOG] will be creating a few different versions of Chrome OS. One mentioned particularly was a business version that will be landing on netbooks in 2011.
Not much information was provided when the information was “leaked?” other than there being a switch under the battery that can switch the Chrome OS Netbook from regular mode to developer mode.
Other information also shows it will have more management muscle, perhaps functioning as a group of netbooks linked together sharing information and access to information within a business. Of course anything else here is just speculation although we do expect to see more details over the coming months of this year as it edges to what we now believe to be a Chrome OS Home edition launching late this year.
