The Hercules eCAFE EC-1000W is a new netbook that will ship with Windows 7 starter installed along with a 250GB harddrive and 50GB of online storage. As it will have Windows 7 pre-installed, it will be made available towards the end of October costing $399.
Other features on the eCAFE netbook include a 10.1″ high brightness screen running at a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. An Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a chiclet style keyboard.
Wireless N is built in to the netbook providing fast access over a local network. Battery life isn’t mentioned but it does have a 6-cell 4400mAh battery which I suspect will get around 5 – 7 or so hours of usage on a single charge. Full list of specs below…
