Honda have been working away at creating a new product called the Honda Driving Simulator that aims to bring a more realistic simulator for drivers to learn in.
The driving simulator has 3 large LCD displays that give a wide view of the road ahead. The software on the system allows various weather and day/night conditions to be created.
The simulator was designed for driving schools to purchase it allowing students to practice on a more realistic computer before going out on the road.
Either way it costs quite a lot of money to buy a unit at $66,000 USD which includes the three LCD screens, a realistic drivers seat, dashboard and foot pedals.
Who knows if it will solve any problems, or perhaps it’s just to prevent the tutors cars from getting scratched up on the first few days youngsters are sitting behind the wheel.
