RadioShack has announced that you can now pre-order the HTC EVO 4G from any one of it’s 4000 US stores ready for connection on to the Sprint network when the phone launches June 4. Pre-orders open today where you can purchase a $50 gift card that will secure your HTC EVO 4G for when it launches on June 4. The $50 gift card will be applied to your purchase on the day of launch.
The phone it’s self is very impressive in the features it has. The device has a 4.3 inch screen along with an 8 megapixel camera on the back that is capable of capturing HD video.
The phone has mobile hotspot functionality that allows you to to connect up to 8 devices at once through the phone on to the Sprint 4G network. When launched, the HTC EVO 4G will run Android 2.1.
The EVO 4G when launched will run a 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. Thanks to the 4G network, browsing speeds increase several times over although you will need to be in a 4G area to make use of those high speeds. If not, the phone will drop back to 3G speeds.
