The HTC Flyer in the US is now getting the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update. The update has begin rolling out and now brings the more advanced version of Android to the tablet.
Reports are indicating that the device is running smoother than before and that the wallpaper lag seen on the previous OS is also gone.
At the moment it is unclear if HTC will be pushing out an Ice Cream Sandwich update to the device although it is something many users would certainly want to see.
For those unsure of what the HTC Flyer is, it’s a 7 inch tablet that uses pen input to scribble notes anywhere within the system… be it on web pages, documents, email etc…
If we hear any more reports on the availability of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) on the HTC Flyer, we’ll provide an update. With Honeycomb only just being launched, don’t expect ICS any time soon though.
