Details of a new phone from HTC have leaked. This new device is codenamed the HTC Pyramid and is expected to run a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The processor is from Qualcomm and is the MSM8260. We also hear that the device will have a 4.3 inch qHD display.
The device is expected to be compatible on HSPA+ networks and will be launched on the T-Mobile network in May 2011.
HTC is expected to unveil a few dual-core smartphones in the next couple of weeks when MWC kicks off.
What makes this leak interesting is that T-Mobile will soon get a large 4.3 inch screen device. As well as having the large screen, with a possible resolution of 960 x 540, the device will also run very quick as well with a dual-core CPU. As for the operating system, it will run Android, probably 2.3 although a new version will be launching about the same time frame, so user might get a surprise.
If we hear anything official we’ll let you know. The information for now has come from a reliable source of the AndroidandMe website who has managed to get things right in the past, so we have high hopes for this device.
