HTC has announced the Sensation XL smartphone. This particular model comes at the same time as another device also announced by HTC. The HTC Sensation XL is launching tomorrow and has a 4.7 inch screen that is Super LCD and has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is also a Beats Audio device and carries the logo on the back which makes it good choice for this in to music.
The technical specs show that the Sensation XL measures 9.9mm in thickness and inside it has a 1.5GHz processor which has a single-core within (the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon to be precise). It has 768MB of RAM.
The camera captures images at 8 megapixels and has a wide aperture of f2.2. A dual-LED flash is also found to light up close by subjects. Storage capacity is 16GB on this particular device and there is no microSD card slot which makes the 16GB the max it can locally hold.
The operating system on the Sensation XL is Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread and with it being an HTC device, it also runs with HTC Sense which we believe is also part of the DropBox deal that HTC is putting on all new smartphones.
HTC is launching the Sensation XL around Europe and Asia. The US will not be getting this device at the moment though. For those in Europe and Asia, you can expect it to be launched sometime in November.
