The HTC Supersonic was first heard of back in December when the HTC Hero Android 2.1 ROM was opened up and the name found within. A couple of months later towards the end of January, BGR managed to get hold of a leaked screen shot saying that the Supersonic was to run Android 3.0 when launched. The day after we spotted some renderings of the Supersonic showing potential of the phone (if real).
The Supersonic is said to have a large 4.3 inch screen and has been described as being the Android version of the HTC HD2 that also runs a massive screen.
Today we came across some video of the HTC Supersonic in action. As always, the video is very blurry as well as being shaky although you do get to see the nice sized screen and get a good impression of what the hardware looks like. Hopefully seeing this leaked video means that the HTC Supersonic is getting closer to an official announcement, so perhaps by the end of March we should know all the official details. My guess is that the device will run either Android 2.1 or perhaps the Android 3.0 screen shot was true. Also I suspect it will have a Snapdragon 1GHz processor from Qualcomm.
