What we are looking at here is a new smartphone that will soon be released called the HTC Ville. BGR managed to get some details about the device including some of the technical specs.
The HTC Ville is expected to be thinner than the iPhone 4S and measure less than 8mm at the widest point.
The device is expected to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it launches around April 2012. It will have a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor and will have a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display.
Other features include an 8 megapixel camera which has a backside illuminated sensor to help with low light shots. The camera will be capable of capturing 1080p video. NFC wont be part of this device as it’s expected to have a metal structure which will cause problems with NFC working.
The final details known about the device hint at HSPA+ connectivity, Beats Audio processing and a batter with a capacity of 1,650mAh.
April is quite a while away though, so don’t expect too much information too soon. If the picture above is correct then it appears that we are looking at a completely smooth fronted device with only buttons around the edges. We are unsure if below the screen will be the home to soft buttons.
