Apple has updated iBooks for the iPhone and iPad (as well as iPod touch). The new update is version 1.2.1 which brings several new features to the eBook reader.
Top of the list of updates is stability and performance. Apple have made the app run a little smoother on each device as well as prevented bugs and crashes from happening.
Other features are as follows:
• Experience fully illustrated books, from children’s picture books to beautifully designed art books, available for download in the iBookstore.
• Organize your books and PDFs into personal Collections. Swipe left or right to jump between Collections.
• Print PDF documents and notes you’ve written in iBooks using AirPrint.
• iBooks now fits more words per page by automatically hyphenating text, available only on iOS 4.2 or later.
The update is available now in the App Store of your iOS device. You need to be running iOS 3.2 or later to use the features.
