Ice Cream Sandwich Confirmed for Several HTC Smartphones

HTC has confirmed that Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is coming to several devices (16 to be precise) over the next few months.

The devices listed include the following:

– DROID Incredible 2 by HTC
– HTC Amaze 4G
– HTC Desire S
– HTC Desire HD
– HTC EVO 3D
– HTC EVO Design 4G
– HTC Incredible S
– HTC Sensation
– HTC Sensation XL
– HTC Sensation 4G
– HTC Sensation XE
– HTC Raider
– HTC Rezound
– HTC Rhyme
– HTC Thunderbolt
– HTC Vivid

The Sensation line will be the first to get the Android 4.0 update. After that, the exact order isn’t known. If a device is not listed here then it will unlikely get the update due to not meeting the minimum requirements to run Ice Cream Sandwich. There are of course, other “methods” of getting ICS on various HTC smartphones.
