The iOS 4.3 GM seed has been released by Apple to developers. This particular version is the final step before the official and final launch that will see iOS 4.3 being publicly made available on March 11.
With this particular step in the testing phase, it also now signals the point at which developers can start submitting iOS 4.3 compatible apps to Apple for approval.
The usual caveats apply here in that developers, or non-developers who sneak in, will not be able to downgrade once installing this update. However, when the final version is released the upgrade path will carry on as normal.
Along with the iOS update, there’s some new Apple TV software available for download that makes the Apple TV compatible with the new AirPlay features found in the 4.3 update. This update is beta 3 and applies to the 2nd gen model only.
For those in the developer program, you can head on over to Apple now and login to find the update.
