TUAW got hold of a latest gen iPod nano and took a look at what it was all about… as in they took a look inside the software to see what hidden gems could be found inside.
Some code found inside indicates that the iPod nano has the ability to playback video. Several options can be found in a section titled
The settings were found in an internal settings property file on the nano. The part of code is pasted below…
Of course this might not actually mean anything other than Apple [AAPL] was testing various bits of code and forgot to remove some on the final build. Either way, it’s an interesting find that we thought was worth a quick mention.
