Apple [AAPL] appears to have accidentally confirmed the existence of iWork for the iPhone 4, or perhaps iOS 4 which would also bring it to the iPhone 3G and 3GS.
The image seen above shows iWork running on the iPhone 4 particularly when it mentions to open in Keynote. The image was captured a few hours ago but has since been removed from the Apple [AAPL] site indicating that the company are not quite ready to launch the application, or worst case, that it was just a mock up image to see what it could look like. We are inclined to believe the former rather than the latter and expect to see details soon from Apple.
Right now iWork is an iPad only application, so perhaps on June 21 when iOS 4 launches, or June 24 when the iPhone 4 launches, we might also see iWork become available to download.
We’ll keep you updated on this one as it’s interesting to see what apps Apple is now porting over to iPhone 4. We already have seen the iBooks details, so it seems applications are heading this way.
