The Kindle was Amazon’s attempt at entering the ebook market and it did extremely well. As with all electronic devices though, it’s time for an upgrade. Say hello to the Kindle 2. The Kindle 2 is more sleek then the original measuring just over 1/3 of an inch thick while giving access to over 230,000 books with in 60 seconds over 3G networks. Lets take a look at this fantastic looking device.
The Kindle 2 is about the size of a magazine in thickness. It can store about 1500 books in memory and has a far sleeker design then it’s older brother, the Kindle. As well as giving access to over 230,000 books at Amazon, the Kindle 2 also allows you to download news papers, blogs and magazines. Each book or magazine takes less then 60 seconds to download and with the Kindle 2 working on the EVDO network you can pretty much grab any book you want anywhere you may be. Prices for books tend to be reasonable too at around $9.99 each for the best sellers.
