Along with the announcement of the Lenovo C200 all-in-one PC, Lenovo also have announced the Lenovo S10-3s netbook (pictured above and below). The S10-3s runs an Intel Atom processor (up to an N470 depending on what model you choose).
The screen on the S10 netbook measures 10.1 inches and is high-def at a resolution of 1280×720. A lower res version is also available that has a 1024×600 resolution. Each screen is in a 16:9 widescreen format.
The graphics chip on the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s is an on-board Intel GMA 3150 chip. Memory wise the IdeaPad comes supplied with 2GB of DDR2 DRAM running at 533Mhz.
For storage the IdeaPad netbook has five options which include three hard drives at 160GB/250GB or 320GB capacities, or two optional SSDs with a capacity of either 16GB or 32GB.
Connectivity wise there’s wireless in there and depending on which model you get there’s 802.11b/g with the higher spec models having n added in. A wired connection is also found at 10/100. Bluetooth and 3G CDMA connections are optional extras.
On the sides of the device can be found 3 USB 2.0 ports, a 5 in 1 card reader that accepts SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro or XD cards along with a mic in, audio out and a VGA connector.
The S10-3s netbook has either a 3 cell battery or an optional 6 cell battery for those who want more life on a single charge.
Pricing starts at $380 for the basic model going up from there depending on how much you add to it, such as the HD screen, larger battery and different storage options. Release dates are not known yet, but the netbook should be launched soon.
