LG have introduced a new thin and light notebook computer called the LG T280. The T280 has an 11.6 inch screen that can display a fairly high resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The notebook is powered by an Intel CULV processor.
Two options of processors are being made available for the LG T280 which include a 1.3GHz Pentium SU4100 dual core CPU or a 1.3GHz Duo SU7300 processor. For graphics this notebook has the usual integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD chipset.
Memory and storage wise it has 2GB of RAM along with a 500GB hard drive for storage. Connectivity includes wireless 802.11b/g/n
Outputs on the casing reveal it has both a HDMI output and a VGA output. The battery in the T280 has 6 cells although exact numbers are not known just yet on how many hours of usage you’ll get from a single charge.
The notebook will run Windows 7 Home Premium when launched and will be on sale soon in Korea costing the equivelant of $1000. No details on if the T280 is coming this side of the world.
The actual unit it’s self looks fairly well designed. It doesn’t appear to have buttons on the trackpad (they will be built in) although the keyboard looks fairly large and very close to a full size QWERTY.
