AT&T is launching the LG Thrill 4G on to its network in the next few days. The release date is September 4th. The LG Thrill 4G is the LG Optimus 3D but branded for the AT&T network.
The Thrill uses a glasses-less 3D technology that allows 3D images to be viewed. The operating system running on the Thrill is Android 2.2. Other features include a 1GHz processor (dual-core) as well as a couple of 5 megapixel cameras on the back that allow you to capture images and video in 3D (with impressive results from our tests of the Optimus 3D – review out tomorrow). Video is captured in 3D at 720p and that jumps to 1080p when captured in 2D.
When available, AT&T will be selling the LG Thrill for $99.99 with a two year contract.
