Logitech has released a new keyboard that uses solar panels to keep the batteries inside charged.
The solar keyboard has regular batteries inside that are charged whenever light is available. As your keyboard sits there (while in use or not in use) the batteries are being quietly charged in the background.
If you were to use the keyboard in complete darkness (after fully charged by solar) it could last up to 3 months. What this basically means is that you’ll never have to charge or change your batteries again.
The keyboard also has a program available that lets you know how much light the panels are absorbing and the estimated battery life remaining at the current charge level. Fancy stuff!
Price wise, it costs $80. Full details can be found over at Logitech.
