The Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has been named the Time Magazine person of the year. The reason for this was because he created a new system of exchanging information which in turn, changes the way we live out lives.
The award is for most influential. Others in the running were Assange of wikileaks, as well as Lady Gaga and Steve Jobs.
A few stats about the company show that it now has over 500 Million registered users as well as a film being created about the whole story of Facebook.

Well, I have very mixed feelings about Mark Zuckerberg. I enjoy facebook because it lets me reconnect with family members that live far away, but we all know he started getting rich by selling our private information to marketing agencies. Much of his income still comes from marketing agencies. Good for him, but I think somebody should keep him in check. If this were 20 years ago, it’d be like somebody going into my mailbox (snail mail, of course), opening all of my letters and bills, making a million copies of them, and posting them around town for everyone to see. Just think about it.
I was able to find and connect with old friends. Thanks.
At first I thought it was a joke but then the more I thought about it I can see why he was choosen. I too hate the new Facebook and how everything you write shows back up on your wall!! I have to do a lot of deleting!!
