Recently, Microsoft [MSFT] announced the Kin One and Kin Two smartphones. The phones have been specifically designed for social networking and have a new user interface geared towards sharing with others and keeping up to date.
Microsoft Kin One Specs
The Microsoft Kin One has a 2.6 inch capacitive touchscreen with a QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. On the back is a five megapixel camera sensor that has several features including autofocus, anti shake and a flash. For connectivity the Kin One has Wireless that can connect to 802.11b/g networks. 4GB of internal memory can be found inside along with an FM radio, Accelerometer and GPS. The phone has 256MB of RAM.
Microsoft Kin Two Specs
The Microsoft Kin Two has a larger 3.4 inch HVGA screen that can display 480 x 320 pixels. The screen on the Microsoft Kin Two is also capacitive touch. The Kin Two has a slightly better camera than the Kin One and is capable of capturing 8 megapixel images. Other features are the same such as autofocus, anti shake and a flash.
The Kin Two has extra memory, 8GB in total. The QWERTY keyboard is landscape and the smartphone also has 256MB of DDR memory. An accelerometer, GPS and an FM radio are built in to this phone. Wireless connectivity also sees the Kin Two being able to connect up to 802.11b/g networks.
We are not sure when the Kin One and Kin Two will be made available and we are also unsure of prices. We’ll keep you updated when we find out the information.
