Microsoft are working on a great looking webcam that pushes the usual low quality in to the HD arena. The new Microsoft LifeCam is capable of 720p and can capture that HD resolution at 30 frames per second (1280×720 pixels).
The camera also features 4x digital zoom and a noise cancelling microphone that is built in. The LifeCam is built using aluminium and can rest on both laptops and desktop PC’s.
The camera is compatible with Live Messenger and also works with all other Microsoft software that can use cameras such as Movie Maker, Live Photo Gallery. Also, it is compatible with Windows 7 and backwards to Vista and XP.
The camera will cost $80 when launched. Via: Giz
