Hasbro has managed to figure out where the “Go” square on a Monopoly London edition is located in the real London.
By using an Ordnance Survey digital map they managed to figure out that Go is right where the London eye is sat, or very near to where it is sat.
Using the Ordnance Survey’s digital mapping technology, Hasbro discovered that the location for the “Go” square for the UK board is actually right by a very famous London landmark”albeit, one which wasn’t around 75 years ago, let alone 11 years ago.
I’m not sure if this will enhance your day anything by knowing this, but it’s a fun fact to know.
