Motorola XOOM users will soon be getting an OTA update made available that will update the device to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Although the XOOM isn’t a Nexus device, it has still received every major update since its launch last year. Originally when launched it ran Android 3.0 Honeycomb and was then updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The WiFi version of the XOOM will be the first to get the Jelly Bean update. The update will be version 4.1.1 JRO03H which will bring all Jelly Bean functions to the tablet. From what we read in the change log the XOOM will become more responsive with the UI, have a more accurate keyboard and widgets that resize automatically when being moved around the screen. Other Jelly Bean features includes improved voice search and redesigned search.
I am sure XOOM users will be looking forwards to the update.
