A few days ago a new smartphone called the HTC Accord was leaked along with a few specs. It appears that this device will now be known as the HTC 8X when it launches. From what I can see on the picture below, it will be running Windows Phone 8 as the operating system.
The specs leaked last week show that it has a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 as well as an 8 megapixel camera capable of capturing at 1080p. The processor is believed to be clocked at 1.5GHz and is a dual-core Krait. Other than that, it seems that HTC will release it with either 8GB or 16GB of storage. Microsoft controls many of the specifications on devices that run its OS which is why they look almost identical to other devices that we have seen.
This new leak looks to be from a quick guide style manual which simply shows what buttons the phone has such as the power on the top, volume on the right side, dedicated camera lower down as well as the regular 3 buttons that Windows Phone 8 will require (Back, Start, Search). The camera is mounted to the left at the top and above the speaker is a proximity sensor.
The phone should be launched in November just after Windows Phone 8 gets announced.
