Good news for those who own a Nexus S smartphone. Google [GOOG] has announced that it will be pushing out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the device within the next few weeks.
Although some are speculating that the “within weeks” could mean that Nexus S users get to use Ice Cream Sandwich before Galaxy Nexus users, it is likely that the Galaxy Nexus will launch first (November 17) and will then be followed closely by the update for the Nexus S.
For those on the older Nexus One, you wont be getting that particular update which means your only way of using Android 4.0 on that device will be to install a custom ROM.
