Nikon has announced the new CoolPix P7000 today. The P7000 joins both the S8100 and the S80 for camera launches today.
The Nikon Coolpix P7000 has a 10.1 megapixel CCD sensor. It has 7.1 times optical zoom built in with a focal length ranging from 28mm up to 200mm.
When capturing images the P7000 manages to capture several images at once with a slightly different exposure setting. Once the image is captured the user can choose which of the images to keep.
For ISO ranges, it goes between 100 and 3,200. The P7000 is also capable of outputting images in both JPEG and RAW file formats if needed. Video can be captured with the camera and it is capable of resolutions up to 720p.
The Nikon P7000 is the more expensive of the cameras launched and when launched in the UK it will cost £490. The release date is September 23.
