Android Ice Cream Sandwich Screenshots Leak

Some screenshots reveal that Android Ice Cream Sandwich has been leaked. The screenshots show the new version of the Android operating system running on a Google Nexus S smartphone.

Several changes include a new notification bar and a new colour scheme. The about screen also indicates that Google hasn’t come up with a version number for the operating system yet although we’ve seen speculation in the past.

Dell has launched two new laptops today. The new laptops are the Dell Inspiron 13z and the Inspiron 14z which are classed as being thin and light. Buyers get the choice of either an Intel Core i3 or a Core i5 processor. Each device has a HD screen in a 720p format.

T-Mobile Charges for 200MB Plan Overage Leaked

T-Mobile in the US will soon be changing the way it charges for data on its smallest 200MB data plan. In the past, T-Mobile has run a “no overage” system on their plans. The new plans now mean that you will be charged if you go over the 200MB limit.

Firefox 7 To Use Up to 50 Percent Less Memory

When Mozilla launches Firefox 7 towards the end of September, the memory usage will be a lot less. On average tests have been said to be about 20 to 30 percent although in some cases the saving is as high as 50 percent. The developers have worked on memory leaks and also optimised in other ways to achieve the drop in usage.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Pre-Orders on Vodafone Suspended

Pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the UK have been suspended by Vodafone. The reason for it is due to the problems between Apple and Samsung over in Germany where a court ruling has prevented sale of the tablet in the European Union.

Nokia WP7 Leaked Video – Probably Fake

The image below is a screen grab of what is probably a fake video of the new Windows Phone 7 Nokia smartphone (Sea Ray). Although the video looks quite official (other than the usual leaky shake effect leaked gadgets have), it does pull elements from other videos of products. But, we quite like the ideas given in the video and hope to see some in the future.
