Palm Pre’s specs have now been revealed over at the Sprint site. Although the specs have been around a while there is a bit of extra information made available as well as the image it’s self making us think that Sprint is getting it ready for launch.
The device will have 8GB of memory although 7.4GB will be usable. It could be just the way the memory is formatted that it looses some data, or that extra space could be used for the OS and other applications that are built in. Video formats supported on the Palm Pre are MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264 with image formats of GIF, Animated GIF, JPEG, BMP and PNG.
Connectivity on the device includes wireless at 802.11b/g along with Bluetooth. The Palm Pre can also be used as a USB modem for your laptop, or a bluetooth modem for your laptop which will allow you web access anywhere.
The Palm Pre does look like a very nice device and one well worth considering should you want another phone. Hopefully this Palm can redeem them from their last few years.

This could be something good, assuming Apple stays out of their way. I don’t know if it’ll be an “iPhone killer” exactly, but it could give it the kick it needs to get better.
