More details of the PlayStation Phone have arrived, thanks to a few leaks here and there.
The leaked details come from a website called IT168 based in China who confirm that inside is a Snapdragon processor running at 1GHz. Also, it runs a Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU. The smartphone/portable games device has been benchmarked at just below 60 frames per second.
The memory on the PlayStation Phone is 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM and it has a microSD card slot for storage purposes.
The screen on the PlayStation Phone measures 4 inches and it has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. On the back of it is a 5 megapixel camera.
On to the actual menu system, to launch games it appears that you load up the PlayStation Pocket app although this could change when the device officially launches.
Other than that, we haven’t hear much else although Gizmodo managed to track down a few videos that show the PlayStation Phone in action playing games as well as running side-by-side another Android device to compare load speeds. You can check out those videos over here.
