When you get a new mobile phone you often polish the screen each and every time a fingerprint is seen on it. After a while of being in your pocket a phone also gets covered in scratches as it hits your keys, coins and occasionally gets dropped etc…
If you want to get a shiny looking phone again then you can actually polish out all the minor scratches by just using some materials and a bit of elbow grease.
Hack n Mod has created a tutorial to show you how you can get your phone looking as new again.
To accomplish a nice new look on your phone you first need to dry sand it, then sand it again with a bit of water using a 3M headlight lens restoration kit. You just need to make sure you use the right sandpaper as to not destroy your phone more than it is already and if done correctly you’ll have a super smooth and shiny look like the phone pictured above. Just be aware that you will loose any logos that are on the back of the phone due to the process taking a thin layer off the back of the device.
Also make sure that you don’t use the same method on the screen as they don’t need sanding down etc… rather just filling in with a kit you can get on eBay for about $10.
