Ben Heck, the master of hacking together portable consoles from regular consoles, has created another beauty. This time he has put together a PS3 Slim and made it in to a portable laptop. The PS3 slim laptop has a 17 inch Gateway LCD screen that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The PS3 slim laptop packs all the features of the regular PS3 slim inside it’s crazy looking casing and allows you to play games while on the move. Also tucked inside you will find space to store the power cord should you need to power it up while out and about.
Design wise the console is pin-striped in white and brown/grey? and uses a black controller. Vents can be found all over the casing and on the left and right you’ll find left and right speakers. On the front of the PS3 laptop is the slot loading Blu-ray drive. Check out the video below to see it in action…
The power cord storage area was provided because of the wide screen making the laptop wider than it really needed to be, so with the electronics stored below it created a couple of inches of space which was decided the cable could be squeezed in to.
