Firemint has announced that an update for Real Racing 2 on both the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is due. The new version will allow for AirPlay support on both of these devices and also allows them to connect up to Party Play which allows users to wirelessly connect to a TV and play against other opponents.
The system lets a user facilitate a wireless local multiplayer match against 3 other players allowing for up to 4 players to share the big screen. With it using AirPlay it requires iOS 5 to run.
Also the graphics have been enhanced for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to make more use of the dual-core A5 processor. A demonstration of the game in multi-player mode can be seen below on the video. The update is available now and will work on the iPad 2 when iOS 5 officially launches on October 12.
