Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 today. The device is the latest tablet from the company that comes with a few new/unique functions to help it differentiate from other tablets.
Samsung has opted to use S Note on the device. S Note is the system that lets you scribble on the screen with a pen so that you can combine notes or sketches with web content.
It [S Note] gives you a new way to create stories as S Note provides various ready-to-use templates such as meeting minutes, recipe, cards, diary, magazine and more. Also, hand-drawn geometric shapes can be perfectly digitized by using the Shape Match function, which helps users to create more organized idea sketches and storyboards.
The new multiscreen setup lets you take notes while watching a movie or browsing the web for example.

Overall, an impressive looking tablet which is an enhancement on previous Galaxy models.
For those interested in the technical specs, the device runs a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. The screen measures 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. On the back it has a 3 megapixel camera while on the front a 2 megapixel camera. Regular connectivity is available such as WiFi, Bluetooth and HSPA+. Also, A-GPS is available on the 3G model and S-GPS on the WiFi model. Glonass support is also available for navigation.
It comes with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage and has 1GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is also available to expand storage up to another 32GB.
