Samsung is rumoured to be launching the Galaxy SIII in April this year which will follow an announcement made at Mobile World Congress this February.
As we have seen with the previous Galaxy S models, we can expect some high-end specs and a very sleek device. Lets take a look at the rumoured specs of the device. Also note that the image below is just a concept of what it could look like.
Technical specs rumoured include a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with a 12 megapixel camera. It will run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system at launch (or a 4.x version of course). The screen is expected to go closer to the edges making a smaller bezel around it although we don’t know at the moment if the device will be thinner or retain the same dimensions as the Galaxy SII.
The rumoured specs appear to have come from Eldar Murtazin who said the following about a device. Of course, he could have been speaking about another device but the timings for the Galaxy SIII line up with what else is known.
HD resolution, 12 mpx camera, sw tweaks, android 4 – i like my new phone. Eager to see official announcement in Barcelona

Previous models of the Samsung Galaxy S have done extremely well in terms of sales and with that in mind, we expect the next gen flagship Samsung smartphone to follow that path.
We’ll have more details at MWC next month.
