Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S range of smartphones have hit 10 million in sales since the launch in 2010.
According to the numbers calculated by Samsung, the company has successfully sold one Galaxy S every 2 seconds since its original launch date about 7 months ago.
As for where the smartphones have sold, 4 million were sold in the US under varying brands such as the Fascinate etc… 2.5 million of them sold in Europe and the remaining few million were sold in other countries around the globe.
Right now, the Samsung Galaxy S is being updated to Froyo in various locations around the globe. No sign of Android 2.3 Gingerbread just yet though.
