Vodafone Australia has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v in Australia is now available for pre-order. The pre-sale went live at 8pm today (AUS time) and gives those who registered an interest a change to get one ahead of the launch tomorrow.
Several buying options are available which see the 10.1 inch tablet being made available for free when signing a two-year agreement. Drop down to a 12 month commitment and you can get it for AU$259. If you decide to buy it off contract you will be able to pay $729 (AUD) for the device.
For those still unsure of what the Galaxy Tab 10.1v is, it’s an Android 3.0 Honeycomb based tablet that runs a 1Ghz Dual Core Processor. It has HD playback and recording and supports Flash 10.2 in the browser. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the first Honeycomb tablet to launch and becomes one of the main competitors to the iPad.
