The Samsung Nexus Prime is expected to launch sometime in November. At the moment we don’t know too much about the device although some specs are starting to leak (perhaps as rumour). The device has the model name of GT-i9250 and when it launches it will run the Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google Android.
The page above is supposedly a screen shot from a page dedicated to the GT-i9250 and although there isn’t much on there, it’s interesting to see that the model name of the device has appeared online.
A tipster who sent in the details to GSM Arena said that the device is only currently codenamed the Nexus Prime and when it launches, it will carry the name of Samsung Galaxy Prime. We also hear that the device will have a screen that measures 4.65 inches that will utilise a Super AMOLED HD display which hints at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
We’ve also heard that the design will be similar to the Nexus S and that it will have a contoured screen like the Nexus S. The device will also be about 8.8mm thick.
A launch is expected around November although the tipster hints at the end of October for the launch. Eric Schmidt recently said that Ice Cream Sandwich would launch in October or November which ties this launch date in place.
