We’ve already heard that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus release date in the UK is November 17. We now hear that the Samsung Galaxy Note is moving from the 17th November a little closer to the 1st November.

Apple iPad 2 Sales Needed by Sydney Judge

We now hear that a judge in Sydney has suggested that Apple might need to divulge its sales number for both the US and UK iPad 2.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pre-Orders Available in the UK
Clove in the UK is the first online store to put the Samsung Galaxy Note up for pre-order. The price is currently set at £600 although this is just an estimate price as Samsung has yet to confirm what the official price will be.
Samsung Galaxy Note Announced
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note smartphone. The device is a little larger than an average smartphone in that it has a large 5.3 inch screen. One of the unique feature of the device is that it has been designed to use a stowaway pen so that notes can be taken (hence the Galaxy Note name).
Skype 2.1 for Android Released – Adds Video Calls to Most Devices
Skype has updated its app for Android smartphones. The new version is Skype 2.1 and with it, users will now be able to make video calls from more Android devices.
BBC Launches New Global iPad iPlayer
Earlier this year the BBC announced that its iPlayer service would be launched as an app for those not in the UK. The Global iPlayer app was said to be subscription based due to other countries not paying the UK TV license fee. The new iPlayer app has now been launched.
ASUS Padfone Now Official
ASUS has released some official photos of the new Padfone that was leaked earlier. The device is both a tablet and a smartphone in one package and works as a hybrid solution. The smartphone part of the device can be detached from the back of the tablet which allows the user to more easily make phone calls.
T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Arriving at RadioShack on April 20
RadioShack announced in a tweet, that the SideKick 4G will be arriving at RadioShack on April 20.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Demonstrated
Over at AndroidHD, pictures and a few details of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 have been posted. The team managed to get hold of one for the day to see what it was all about and also give the rundown of how it performs and functions. With it being Android 3.0 Honeycomb, we’ve seen various aspects before of course… due to demonstrations done by Google and the fact that the Xoom has already been reviewed.
The video demonstration is just shy of 12 minutes long and shows a number of the features such as how email notifications are made, how to activate voice features and in general, how a lot of the functions work. [Read more…]
Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7 Coming Soon
Rovio Mobile has confirmed that the popular Angry Birds will be arriving on the Windows Phone 7 platform. No specific release dates have been provided for the WP7 version of the game although Rovio confirmed that they are “working on it”.
You might remember that when Windows Phone 7 was launched, a Rovio/Angry birds logo was seen on the home screen of the device. This caused problems for Rovio in that they didn’t authorise the use of it. However, they have confirmed that this is in the past now and that development of the game is running smoothly. MORE/REAL Stylus Cap for Capacitive Touch Tablets
The MORE/REAL Stylus cap has been designed to use with devices such as the iPad, iPhone and any other tablet or smartphone with a capacitive touchscreen. The Stylus Cap is a small cap that comes in three versions with one specific for a brand of pen.
The first is compatible with the Sharpie Finepoint, the next caps a Bic Round Stic and the third is the correct size for a Pilot Fineliner.
