The PlayStation Phone has again been spotted. This time, Engadget managed to get a full hands-on and test to see if it’s any good. Just like all other details and videos we have seen about this device, this one is also pre-production and therefore, can be a little buggy in places.
The PlayStation Phone is expected to be called the Xperia Play when it is made official at MWC next month.
The device has a 4 inch multitouch screen that can show 854 x 480 pixels. This is the same as what the X10 has. One slight difference between the two screens is that the Xperia Play’s screen is closer to the glass which tends to make it look a little nicer. It is also rumored that the PlayStation Phone display is powered by a Bravia engine.
A few bugs were found such as a couple of the buttons being reversed and a bit of lag when moving between screens. All of these should be fixed by launch.
